The ” E” of e-currency stands for “electronic” (as in E-Mail) ; meaning its only being used on the internet.

There are two major types of E-Currency in the world :

- The ones backed by precious metal (gold, silver,…)

- The ones backed by hard currency. (Usually USD , EUR and GBP)

The main difference between these two types is that the E-Currency backed up precious metal will have a fluctuating value based on the metal’s value , whereas the hard currency has more or less the same value all the time.

E-currency backed by hard currency (see above) is widely used on the internet as the medium of internet related commercial actions. This provides those users a quick,simple and safe way for shopping instead of showing their credit card information to merchant who they do not know.

This is , however , restricted in some regional area which is defined by the currency they choose to be backed.

The major reason is the floating character of exchange rate between the hard currency and the local currency often used by the internet users. For example, an internet user who lives in Japan may lose money when processing the currency exchange from USD to JPY.

E-Currency backed by precious metals (see above) have to be purchased from exchangers. This basically means you place an order for the E-Currency you like (we will discuss which types you should focus on later) in the currency your nations pays in (e.g. EUR). The order then is paid with a bank wire or a Western Union transfer. Once the exchanger received the funds, your E-Currency account will be funded within 24 hours. This balance will appear most of the time in USD, unless specified otherwise.

The E-Currency account is opened online and can be filled in with either your real information, or totally random information, guaranteeing anonimity. The choice is yours.

My personal preference is Liberty Reserve, its easy and fast to fund with a bank wire and the exchanger provides an excellent service. But as always, the choice is yours

A HYIP is a program that promises guaranteed hourly, daily or weekly profits. There are two types of HYIP’s :
§ Short-Term HYIP : These programs offer high returns in a short period of time (e.g. 40% of your investment per day, for 3 days , resulting in a 120% investment return). Investing in these programs is VERY risky because these dont pay for very long (See below). There are always exceptions to this rule but for 9 out of 10 their lifespan is 1-2 weeks.

§ Long-Term HYIP : These programs offer a low return over a long period of time (e.g. 1.2% daily for 190 days , resulting in a 228% return). Investing in these programs is still risky, but their longevity is alot higher, thus increasing our chances to make some profit. Long-Term HYIPS mostly offer something called COMPOUNDING . This means that your daily/weekly profits will be added on top of your investment (investment + 1.2%) and that the next day’s/week’s profit is calculated on the new total, thus increasing your profits. The compounding rate can be manually set by the investor if the program allows it. (from 0%-100%)

¶  Autosurfs

An autosurf program is a program where you invest a certain amount (10$ on average) and then are required to surf a certain amount of websites, on a 20(ish) second timer.Once you have completed the required visits for that day, your earnings will be credited to your account.

Basically you earn 10-15% of your investments each day if you visit 10-15 sites every day, for 10-12 days straight. Once your investment “expires” , you need to reinvest to keep making profits.

Most autosurfs will NOT allow you to cash out unless you invested.

¶  GPT (Get Paid to – click, read, complete offers,…)

On GPT sites, you can earn money WITHOUT investing (most of the time), by clicking ads, reading emails, completing free offers and more. These programs pay very little but if you put some work in it and get some referrals, you can make a nice amount of money each month.

Some programs require you to invest in order to get paid out (and you will earn more if you invest).

§ NEVER invest money you can not afford to lose! Investments are always a bit of a gamble and you will not always make profit.

§ Programs offering a high return in a short amount of period are ALWAYS a high risk.

§ Spread your dividents! Do NOT invest all your E-Currency in one program. Spend smaller amounts in several programs to maximize earnings.
